History

Parkland Karate Association was establsihed in 1984 as a fundraising organization to assist the clubs in zone 4 in raising money through working bingos and continued until 2003.

The organization has evolved today to include coaching, grading's, refereeing, and technical seminars for the Shotokan system of Karate training.

Our members are also members of the Prairie Karate Association which is the provincially recognized body of Karate Canada, Canadian Olympic Association and Sport Canada.

Currently, the Parkland Karate Assocation is comprised of clubs in Esterhazy, Kamsack, Yorkton, Preeceville, Hudson Bay and an affilate club in Roblin, Manitoba which trains on a weekly basis with instructors whose bio's are listed on our site.

We provide entry level training in the traditional Karate system which was established thousands of years ago with modern methods of applications.

Our students compete in regional, provincial, national and internationally recognized events.

We invite all interested to contact a club in your area for more information.
